Hi, I’m Tamika, the founder of Details & Veils. My journey into weddings started long before this became a business. I first planned my best friend’s wedding and found myself completely immersed in the process. I was hands on with every detail, handmaking the floral arrangements, creating the table settings, designing the invitations, and bringing all the little touches to life.

Word spread quickly. Soon, more of my peers were asking me to plan their weddings, birthday parties, and special events. What began as a personal passion for design and celebration grew into something much bigger: the start of my business, Details & Veils.

In the early years, I focused on weddings and honeymoons across New York and New Jersey. With each event, my love for helping couples create meaningful celebrations deepened. Over time, my work expanded beyond my personal network, reaching couples who wanted more than a typical wedding. They wanted experiences they and their guests would remember forever.

That growth led me to where Details & Veils is today, a full destination wedding planning company with global connections to resorts, hotels, and castles. Now I have the privilege of working with couples around the world, designing weddings that feel seamless, joyful, and unforgettable from start to finish.

For me, this is not just a career, it is a calling. Every couple I work with receives my full attention, creativity, and care. My role is more than just planning the details. It is about walking alongside you, making sure your love story is celebrated in a way that feels authentic, intentional, and true to you.
